1. Your choices
The first time you visit Reef Network we show a cookie banner with three options:
- Accept All turns on every category.
- Deny turns off everything that is not strictly necessary.
- Customize opens the preference panel, where you can turn each category on or off individually and see the cookies it contains.Deny is as easy to use as Accept All and takes the same number of clicks. Cookies that are not necessary are set only after you have chosen to allow the category they belong to.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and it does not affect what happened before you withdrew.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They assist in remembering user preferences, enabling secure logins, and analysing traffic.

The four categories below are the same four you see in the preference panel. Durations are the durations documented by each provider.
Necessary
These cookies are essential for you to browse the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the site or providing the basic services. They are always active and cannot be switched off.

Functional

Session replay: Microsoft Clarity does more than count page views. It records mouse movement, clicks and scrolling and replays them as a recording of your visit. It runs only if you allow this category.
Ahrefs Analytics also measures traffic on this site. It does not set cookies.
Advertising
These cookies are used to measure the effect of advertising and to build audiences. The companies below also use what they receive for their own purposes, not only ours.

4. Technologies other than cookies
Consent requirements are not limited to cookies. The same rules apply to local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, software development kits, and techniques that read information from your device.
In use on this site: local storage and session storage used by the site itself and by Google Tag Manager, the Meta Pixel, the Google Ads tag, and Microsoft Clarity.
5. Third parties that set cookies or receive your IP address
Loading a third party tells that company you visited the page, whether or not it sets a cookie.

6. Browser controls
Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies. This is an additional control, not the way you give or withdraw consent on this site. Use the Cookie settings link in our footer for that.
Blocking necessary cookies in your browser will stop parts of the site from working, including signing in.
Some browsers send an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control. Where a law that applies to you requires us to honour it, we do.
7. Regional differences
European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Turkey: We ask for consent before setting anything that is not strictly necessary.
United States: We apply the same consent banner everywhere, so your choices work the same way wherever you are.
