Find answers about your account, the forum, and the marketplace.
How do I upload a profile picture?
Profile pictures on Reef Network are powered by Gravatar, a free service that links an image to your email address. You upload your photo once, and it appears on every site that uses Gravatar.
- Go to gravatar.com.
- Sign in with the same email address you used to register on Reef Network. If you do not have an account yet, select Sign up to create one for free.
- On your profile page, select Add a new image and upload a photo from your device.
- Crop the image to a square, and adjust the size or filters if you want to.
- Set the image rating to G (suitable for all audiences) and save.
Your photo appears on your Reef Network profile within a few minutes.
Good to know:
- The email address on your Gravatar account must match the one on your Reef Network account. If they differ, your photo will not show.
- You can add several email addresses to one Gravatar account and assign a different image to each.
- If your photo does not appear right away, it is usually browser caching. Refresh the page with Ctrl+F5 (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac).
When does the marketplace open?
There is no fixed date. We open once the founding seller roster is full, because a marketplace with empty shelves helps nobody. Pre approved sellers are told first and get the dashboard before anyone else.
What am I committing to by applying?
Nothing. You are reserving a spot and locking your 10% rate. The seller agreement is signed later, at onboarding, and you can walk away before that.
Is the commission calculated on shipping too?
Yes. The rate applies to the order total the buyer pays, shipping included, taxes excluded. Card processing is already inside that rate, so nothing else is deducted.
Who covers a dead on arrival claim?
Your published DOA policy applies. We hold the payout until the claim window closes and step in if buyer and seller disagree.
I am in Türkiye. Can I sell?
Yes, on a separate track. Stripe does not operate there, so Turkish stores are onboarded through a local provider in a second wave.
Can I import my catalog in bulk?
Yes, CSV import after approval. We help the first founding sellers migrate theirs.
