1. Who is responsible for your information
The controller of your personal information is Deepline Digital LLC, 30 N Gould St, Suite 56278, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
For any question or request about your information, write to privacy@reefnetwork.com. We aim to acknowledge within 5 business days.
We do not currently target the European Union or the United Kingdom and we have no registered users in those regions. If that changes, we will appoint a representative under Article 27 of the GDPR and the UK GDPR and publish their details here. Until then, users in those regions may contact us directly at privacy@reefnetwork.com.
2. What we collect and how

Photographs can carry hidden data, including the location where the photograph was taken. We strip location data from uploads before publication. Do not rely on this alone if a location is sensitive to you.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, our interest is operating a safe and functioning platform, and we have considered whether that is outweighed by your rights. You may object, see section 7.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Some of the tools on this site do send information to advertising and analytics companies. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act that counts as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising. We would rather say so plainly than claim otherwise. These tools run only if you accept the matching category in our cookie banner, and you can withdraw that at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer.

Companies that receive information for their own advertising purposes
These are not simply our processors. They use what they receive for their own purposes as well.

We also disclose information where we are legally required to, where necessary to establish or defend legal claims, and to a successor in a merger or acquisition, on notice to you.
5. International transfers
Deepline Digital LLC is registered in the United States. Our website and database are hosted in Turkey, and the day to day operation of Reef Network, including decisions about how personal information is handled, is carried out from Turkey. Other information is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may not offer the same level of protection as your own.
Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. You may ask us for a copy of the safeguards we use.
6. How long we keep it

We do not keep personal information longer than we need it for the purpose we collected it for.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you
- have inaccurate information corrected
- have your information deleted
- restrict how we use it
- object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling
- receive your information in a portable format, and have it transferred
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before
- not be discriminated against for exercising these rights
To exercise any of them, write to privacy@reefnetwork.com. Our response times are:
- Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR: within one month, extendable by two further months for complex requests
- Under Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK): as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest, free of charge
- Under the CCPA: within 45 days
If you are unhappy with our answer, tell us first. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority: in the EU, the authority in your country of residence, work or where the issue arose; in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner’s Office; in Turkey, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
In the United States, the California Privacy Protection Agency or your state Attorney General.
8. Children
Reef Network is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, write to privacy@reefnetwork.com and we will delete it.

9. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential ones are set only after you consent through the banner shown on your first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer. Full detail is in the Cookie Notice.
10. How we protect your information
We protect your information with measures that include encryption of traffic in transit (HTTPS), hashed storage of passwords, access controls that limit who on our side can see what, and regular software updates.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we notify the competent supervisory authority within 72 hours, as required under both the GDPR and the decisions of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board, and we notify you directly where the risk to you is high.
11. Regional information
California: We do not sell personal information for money. We do share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, as explained in section 4, and only where you have accepted the advertising category in our cookie banner. Rejecting or withdrawing that consent stops the sharing. The categories we collect and the parties we share with are in sections 2 and 4. California residents may exercise the rights listed in section 7.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom: The legal basis for each use is in section 3. You have the rights listed in section 7 and the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
Turkey: Where the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 applies, you have the rights set out in its Article 11, and you may apply to us at privacy@reefnetwork.com and, if unsatisfied, to the Personal Data Protection Board.
12. Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our practices change. The date at the top shows the last change. Where a change is material, we tell account holders by email or by a notice when they next sign in.
