Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment
Reef Network should be usable by everyone in the hobby, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not as a later correction.
2. The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. We are working towards that standard and we do not currently claim full conformance across the whole site.
3. What we have done so far
- Body text is set at 17 pixels and is not reduced at any screen width
- Headings follow a single logical order on each page, with no skipped levels
- All images carry alternative text
- Every link has discernible text
- The colour combinations in our palette are checked against the WCAG contrast requirement and the results are documented
- The tabbed sections on our legal pages are operable with a keyboard and announced correctly by screen readers
- The page language is declared in the markup
4. Known problems
We would rather tell you what does not work than let you find out.

Some content comes from third-party components and from users. We do not control it fully, and we work with those suppliers to improve it.
5. Tell us where we fall short
If any part of Reef Network prevents you from doing something, tell us. This is the fastest way for us to fix it, and we treat these messages as priorities.

6. How we test
We check contrast, heading order, alternative text, link text, form labels, target size and keyboard operation. Automated checks run against the templates that carry most of our traffic, and we repeat them after any significant change to the site.

We review this statement at least once a year, and after any significant change to the site.
